HW: To be an American clearly means many things to many people.  It is your responsibility to interview three different people (be it through age, background, race, whatever) and learn about how they define being an American and what it means to live in America.  Take notes and be prepared to discuss your findings.

HW: How does the "American Dream" factor into the American identity?  Do you have an American Dream?  Do you parents?  What is distinctly "American" about this "Dream"?
