I really love music a lot. I feel as though it can influence your perspective on life. The genres I generally listen to include indie-alternative, rock, grunge, psychedelia, and indie-electronica. Sometimes I have these weird phases where I become obsessed with rap or k-pop for a few days. My favorite bands include

I have a very static lifestyle when I'm in NYC. My hobbies are almost always playing one of two video games, going to the gym every other day, and watching tons and tons of movies online, usually two a day.
I have a huge variety in the genre of music that I listen to. My playlists have Justin Timberlake and Jesse McCartney songs mixed in with singles from A$AP Rocky and Kendrick Lamar (I also have some classical music in there).

I usually read fantasy books, but recently I have been reading nonfiction. I also like to go biking/hiking on a sunny day and go bowling at nights. The music I listen to is pretty varied (Katy Perry, Hillsong, Taylor Swift), but I have been into a song called Mr. Saxobeat after I danced to it. I participate in a variety of activies both in school and out. I was on the Stuyvesant swim team the last three years, and also danced in both SING! and Stuy Squad. I've been writing for the Spectator Arts and Entertainment department since freshmen year as well. I also am interested in art and design and am a Design Scholar for the Smithsonian National Design Museum. This summer I interned at an architecture firm and have long been interested in architecture. However, lately my main passion has been weight lifting and fitness.
I listen to a wide variety of music but specifically a lot of Electric Dance Music, Eminem, and polish hip hop. I also listen to artists such as Lana del Rey, Juanes, Shakira and Nas.
One interesting fact about me is that I love traveling and have so far been to over 20 countries.

I enjoy reading, writing, and watching shows. I have rather eclectic music tastes, and what I listen to depends on the day and my mood. I like classical, kpop, rock, country, and R&B. Some of my favorite artists are Florence and the Machine, OneRepublic, Enrique Iglesias, Maroon 5, etc. One interesting fact about me is that I'm extremely nearsighted in my right eye, and can't see more than a foot away with it.

I enjoy snowboarding, ice skating, and generally any activity that has to do with snow and cold weather. I also enjoy visiting record stores and "digging" or searching for unique vinyl records.

I enjoy reading as well as writing creative personal pieces, such as journals or memoirs. Outside of school, I take ballet/pointe classes and sometimes teach piano basics to young kids. I'm also somewhat addicted to the Internet.
I listen to a pretty wide variety of music including: many 80s pop and rock hits, some classic rock, a pinch of funk or disco, and some pop. And of course, I love Disney movie tunes.
An unexpected fact about me is that I'm on the Speech Team though I'm generally quiet in class. Hopefully I can change that and speak up more this year.

Reading and working on some form of “art” are usually the things I do in my free time, but I have to admit that as I have grown older I have gotten pretty addicted to watching TV shows. Usually when I am drawing something, I like having music as my back ground which would usually be anything on the radio or Hindi songs which I started listening to more recently. I have to say that I do not have some sort of hidden talent or some little known fact about me that might seem “interesting”, but the one thing that everyone knows about me that defines me in more ways than one is that I am a big Harry Potter fan.

I like various types of music, but for the most part I listen to pop music. I like listening to songs that I find hopeful and inspirational. I also gravitate toward songs that just have a really catchy beat. Some of the songs that I've been listening to lately are "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey, "One More Night" by Maroon 5, and "Pretty Brown Eyes" by Cody Simpson.

Most of my relaxation time that is neither taken up by sleeping nor going online is spent reading. My favorite book is Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, but I am currently reading The Shining by Stephen King and City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (Both I recommend! I find heavier reads like Stephen King novels pair nicely with teen-romance-mixed-with-demons novels. "Oh I hope this hot guy I just met likes me...and can save my life from killer monsters!" *cue the woe-is-me swoon*)
I like a mixture of regular pop music (Adele, Sara Bareilles, Ke$ha) with Kpop (Exo-K) and '50s music (Buddy Holly). How that mixture came about I can tell you not.
Hmmmm... Well... Until about a year ago, I couldn't see depth very well/ my 3D perception was really bad. When it got corrected, I felt as though the world was my very own pop-up book and I the starring character.

ReplyDeleteI definitely enjoy playing video games (with friends) which ranges from any genre as long as it's action-packed. However, there are a few exceptions to this such as; if I find the game to be boring, or its just not my taste. In addition to that, I like to play basketball and occasionally saunter through the park(s) in my area by myself.
As for music, I could probably listen to almost everything, but I prefer rock over the other available types of music.
An interesting fact about me is that I actually learned how to turn on a computer when I was two years old.
