UPDATED*** INSTRUCTIONS FOR REMOTE LEARNING

***Please check your stuy.edu email and join my Google Classroom.  We'll be conducting all coursework here.

ALL WORK WILL NOW BE CONDUCTED ON GOOGLE CLASSROOM.  DISREGARD THE "WORK FOR THE WEEK" DOCUMENT BELOW.   YOU WILL SUBMIT CLASSWORK BY POSTING, THREE TIMES A WEEK, ON GOOGLE CLASSROOMS.

We will begin using Google Classroom for tomorrow's class.  The work will be posted at 8 P.M.

HW: Find an example of a culturally relevant folk/mythological hero.  For example, I'm Russo Hungarian (Eastern-European) and so I picked the story of Baba Yaga.  How could you go about updating your hero for modern times?  Consider some of Chin's themes: feminization, American identity, generational differences, rape culture, materialism vs. asceticism, West vs. East, doubles/twins, and more.

Post your ideas in the comment section of this blog.  This is meant to be a brief, creative activity in which we can emulate Chin's style.  Max 350 words.
