HW: Find an example of a culturally relevant folk/mythological hero.  For example, I'm Russo Hungarian (Eastern-European) and so I picked the story of Baba Yaga.  How could you go about updating your hero for modern times?  Consider some of Chin's themes: feminization, American identity, generational differences, rape culture, materialism vs. asceticism, West vs. East, doubles/twins, and more.

Post your ideas in the comment section of this blog.  This is meant to be a brief, creative activity in which we can emulate Chin's style.  Max 350 words.
