Reading HW: Finish Book V
HW: Continue to notate reading. No more notations are due after Book V is completed. Crime and Punishment notebooks are due on Friday, no exceptions.
Tuesday April 30th

Reading HW: Book VI Ch. 1, 2
HW: Complete outline due today including thesis, supporting paragraph ideas, and supporting quotations (three suggested). Here's the assignment for those of us in need.
Wednesday May 1st

Reading HW: Book VI Ch. 3, 4
HW: Considering last night's reading, why doe Porfiry apologize to Raskolnikov? What are the legal benefits of confession? How should Raskolnikov deal with Svidrigailov? (Wow, I just spelled that name correctly without checking the book)
Thursday May 2nd
Minutes: Olesya, Elizabeth
Reading HW: Book VI Ch. 5, 6
HW: Full draft due today for workshopping. Why does Svidrigailov kill himself? What leads to his suicide?
Friday May 3rd
Minutes: Mitchell, Antony
Reading HW: Book VI Ch. 7, 8
HW: Compare the legal punishment of Raskolnikov's crime to his self-punishment. Is the end of book VI climatic or anticlimactic?
Crime and Punishment notebooks are due on Friday, no exceptions.
