I was browsing through Youtube documentaries and stumbled upon something that connects strongly with what we are reading in class (HoL). It is a book called the Devil's Bible, which is filled with strange peculiar hints and different secrets within the pages. It has a lot of unanswered questions that it raises. It is said that one of the owners of the book became obsessed with the book. Eventually he died, single, unknown... reminds you of the House of Leaves, anyone? anyways, You should check this documentary out. It is very intriguing and scary. watch at your own risk. Also, the documentary will go into the duality of things, and the possibilities of interpretation. The documentary shows an alternative perception of a word in the devil's bible that changes its entire meaning and purpose. I think this can be very beneficial for helping us in our study of HoL, or at least enrich the experience. the link is,

ReplyDeleteThis is the link to the website I mentioned in class where a teacher had his students find all of the real footnotes in HoL. There are only 15 there out of the 450 footnotes the book has.
