HW: Interview three people and ask the following questions: How do you identifying racially?  How does this impact your life?  How do you think other perceive you based upon your race?  Then, have the interview subject ask you the same questions.  Example: How do you identifying me racially?  How do you think race impacts my life?  How do you think other perceive me based upon my race?

HW: Complete a "Race Card".  you will write a six word essay on the blank side of a 3x5 notecard (I will provide them in class).  Write your name on the lined side of the notecard (as to keep these cards anonymous) as well as a brief 2-3 sentence explanation of your ideas.  Please write your words eligibly and large enough to discern from a few feet away.
